Davco – Hornex is a two part, thin bed tile adhesive system.

Hornex is a two part, thin bed tile adhesive system, as well as a general purpose adhesive based on natural rubber latex co-reacting with a hydraulic binder.

Uses:

• Can be used on both walls and floors in interior and exterior applications
• Recommended for the thin bed fixing of all types of rubber, outdoor carpet, cork, parquetry, and wood, onto plasterboard, fibre cement sheeting, concrete, cement renders/screeds, brickwork, blockwork and particular waterproofing membranes
• Do not use Hornex to tile directly onto timber substrates
• It is also suitable for bonding polystyrene, rubber, outdoor carpet, glass mosaics, cork, parquetry, wood, aluminium, stainless steel and other steels
• When using Hornex with translucent or porous materials the colour of the adhesive must be considered

• Provides a high bond strength allowing it to be used to lay ceramic tiles, marble, granite etc
• Water resistant making it ideal for use laying tiles in wet areas such as shower floors and over particular waterproofing membranes
• Fast setting – can be grouted after 8-12 hours
